PAL-NTSC transfer and transcoding

Transfer

We carry out transfers and acquisitions from and to the majority of analogue and digital domestic and professional formats, on both optical and magnetic supports (both SD and HD, such as, for example, DigitalBeta, IMX, DVCPRO, HDV, HDCAM/HDCAM SR and XDCAM/XDCAM HD) as well as for formats that are now obsolete such as BVU, U-matic, Betamax, Hi8 and Laserdisc, the last here also in standard NTSC colour (American and Japanese). Among the audio tapes we have DAT and DA88 and DA98HR.

Furthermore we can also convert aspect ratios and frame rates, upscaling and downscaling, through an uncompressed digital infrastructure that does not alter the original quality. For permanent storage, instead, we have the possibility of reading all LTO supports up to LTO6 and writing LTO5 and LTO6. We are going to upgrade soon to LTO7.

PAL-NTSC transcoding

For a long period we provided TV services for the North American market, where the colour standard is NTSC, which is different from PAL. This has allowed us to gain great experience in PAL-NTSC conversions and vice versa, especially where it is necessary to change the frame rate, for example, using the pull-down technique. With the advent of HD this experience has been further refined. We can record and read tapes in standard NTSC in the most requested SD formats: Digibeta, IMX, BetaSP, DV, DVCAM, Hi8 (as requested by airlines) and, for older.
